RingCentral Online Meetings
OCCA online meetings will use RingCentral hosted by Justin Swall. Here is some important information you need to know:
Preparing for the Meeting
Although you can attend via the web, or on the phone-only, it’s strongly recommended that you join using the RingCentral Meetings application available for Windows, Mac, iOS and Android. I recommend downloading and installing the app ahead of the meeting on whichever device you plan on using to ensure you’re ready to go in time for the meeting.

A headset (or microphone & speakers) is recommended, although not required. If you don’t have a microphone on your PC, once you join the meeting you will be given the choice to ‘dial-in’ from your phone for the meeting audio. If you are using a microphone and speakers (as opposed to a headset) I strongly recommend the use of earbuds or other headphone as opposed to a loud speaker. This will help to prevent hearing an ‘echo’ as your microphone picks up the sound from your speakers.
A camera is also recommended so we can feel like we’re having a face-to-face meeting, but is not required.
Attending the Meeting
It is strongly recommended you join the meeting using the link, not one of the call-in options. Even if you need to call-in for audio, use the link to join the meeting then follow the on-screen instructions on calling in for the audio. This will ensure you can see any screen shares during the meeting. If you just use the call-in information below without using the link you will be able to hear us, but won’t be able to see anything.
