Have you run out of things to do and are looking for a new hobby? How about one that involves tinkering with small computers that perform an endless variety of interesting (and sometimes useful) tasks?
In just one hour, programmer and hobbyist (and OCCA member) David Cornelius will present 1001* Clever Uses of Raspberry Pi Computers, credit card-sized "system on a chip" devices that can do everything from monitoring your house to filtering spam to hosting a website. Sure, there are plenty of books, websites, and YouTube videos to describe them but here you can see (and touch) for yourself several different models, plug in components, burn a Linux operating system, write a "Hello World" program, and play a game.
Come learn how to fill your "man cave" with electronic parts so you can always instantly "look busy" when you need to! 😉
* That's 1001 in binary, of course!
