I specialize in getting websites found on the search engines by working with your marketing department and your existing web designers and IT staff.

I've been working in search since 1999, and I've been in the national  search space since 2004. I routinely speak at internet marketing events, and my credibility can be demonstrated by a search for phrases like "internet consultant" on any search engine, where you'll usually find at least one of my URL's on the first page.

• I write an internet marketing blog that is regularly cited by industry leaders Search Engine Land and Search Engine Journal.

• In late 2008, I released a widely acclaimed search industry site-check too, called SEO Automatic, offering instant site reviews for search engine ranking factors.

• I'm a regular speaker / moderator at local internet marketing events, such as SearchFest, and I've spoken at national conferences, including Webmaster World Pubcon.

• I'm a partner in Get Wordpressed, a service specializing in matching blogs to existing site styles, using the most search engine friendly content management system in the world, WordPress.

• I have an excellent reputation for integrity and plenty of references on my website.

History / Bio
I was the owner of Cyber Exchange and MPH Computing, (retail computer stores) in the Gateway area of NE Portland from 1997 to 2002.

Those businesses were twice nominated for the Oregon Better Business Bureau Business of the Year, and received numerous community recognition awards.

In 2003 I formed Search Commander to focus exclusively on internet marketing, and for the past 10+ years, I've been a regular speaker at Webmaster World - Pubcon, SearchFest, and other internet marketing conferences.
